By accessing or using the Sese website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the platform.

1. Purpose of the Platform

Sese is developed as an academic capstone project and deployed as a community-based web platform. It aims to:

• Provide a centralized directory of pet-inclusive establishments
• Allow users to post reviews, listings, and feedback
• Enable users to upload images related to establishments and pets
• Provide a lost-and-found section for pets within Angeles City

Sese functions as an information-sharing platform and does not guarantee the accuracy of all user-submitted content.

2. User Eligibility

By using Sese, you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years old; or
• You have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information during registration.

3. User Accounts and Security

Users must create an account to access posting features. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities under your account
• Immediately reporting any unauthorized access

4. User-Generated Content

Users may post listings, reviews, comments, and lost-and-found reports. By submitting content, you:

1. Confirm that the content is accurate and lawful.
2. Confirm ownership or permission to upload.
3. Grant Sese a non-exclusive license to display and manage the content.
4. Accept that posts may be publicly visible.

5. Image Upload Policy

Images must not infringe on copyrights, contain explicit/offensive material, or violate the privacy of individuals. Sese reserves the right to remove non-compliant images without notice.

6. Establishment Listings and Verification

While administrators may verify certain establishments via public records (e.g., DTI), Sese does not guarantee the legality or operational status of any listing.

7. Lost and Found Feature Disclaimer

This section is for community support only. Administrators do not retrieve pets or guarantee recovery. Interactions are at the user's own risk.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users must not impersonate others, post fraudulent info, attempt to hack the platform, or collect user data without consent.

9. Intellectual Property

System design, logos, and source code are the intellectual property of the Sese development team unless otherwise stated.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Data processing complies with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). Personal info is used solely for account management and platform functionality.

11. Limitation of Liability

Sese is provided “as is.” Developers are not liable for inaccurate content, user disputes, or technical downtime.

12. Academic Nature of the Platform

Developed under the School of Computing of Holy Angel University, Sese remains subject to academic evaluation and research modifications.

13. Termination of Access

Sese reserves the right to suspend accounts or remove content for violations without prior notice.

14. Amendments

Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
